The Kind of Degree or Certificate You Can Get Via Distance Education

Most people think that the only degree you can learn online is an MBA or maybe a certificate in transcribing or locksmithing. This is totally false. Actually, if you can earn a degree or certificate through a traditional school, the same is probably available through online education and distance learning.
Some of the degrees and certificates someone can earn include:
* High school diploma
* Bachelor’s degree - usually four year degree
* Associate degree - usually two year degree
* Master’s degree - usually requires bachelor’s degree
* Professional certificate - specific job or professional certification
* Doctorate (Ph.D.) - usually requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum semester hours at graduate level
