If you are considering getting a license for real estate sales, you usually need to take classes before taking the license exam.  Rather than attending traditional classes at a location, you now have the option of taking the courses online.

Every state has different requirements, but in California for instance, you can take real estate classes online through schools such as Allied Real Estate School.  Allied says that they are the largest real estate school in California.  They are nationally accredited by DETC (Distance Education and Training Council)  The DETC is listed by U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

Besides taking  the courses,  online real estate schools help the student study for the real estate license exam.  Allied even offers a guarantee if the student does not pass the exam.

You can take online real estate courses in many states, to qualify for your first sales license, to get your broker’s license, and to take required continuing education courses. The most recent state to allow online education for prelicense courses is New York.
