California Southern University started in 1978 with the intention of serving the educational needs of adults who, for some reason could not attend traditional educational institutions. CalSouthern realizes that there are obstacles that prevent degree seeking adults from obtaining their dreams.
CalSouthern had responded to these obstacles by offering high quality education through online and distance teaching. Their modest beginnings started with offerings at the associate degree levels. Then they expanded to Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degree offerings. And all these learning methodologies are obtained through online learning. Degrees in business, liberal arts, psychology and law are being obtained from students around the world.
